Elixar Events has been operating for 8 years and is owned by professionals with over 20 years of experience in events and hospitality.
Elixar Events are proud to share that their mentorship programme is returning for 2025. The mentorship offers a unique experience for a young person from Southwark who is keen to gain more experience or learn about events to be mentored by a member of the festival production team.
The mentoring scheme will consist of 3 parts.
Fill the paid position of our On-site Runner. You will support both the operation and production teams, assisting them with all runner jobs such as signage, accreditation, setting up event cabins, attending management meetings, and much more.
Dates:
A choice between our live dates 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th August
Pay, Food & Travel:
£150 per day paid via invoice two weeks after the event
Three meals are provided each day
Taxi home costs are covered if needed.
If you enjoy the work on-site and still have an interest in festivals, the Operations Manager will mentor you over the next six months.
A mentoring plan will be created based on your needs and wants and will include set targets.
You will also have the chance to participate in some of the planning meetings for 2026 events.
At this point, you will have a better understanding of how events are managed and increase your on-site experience.
Therefore, we will have you work at the 2026 event in a higher (paid) position. The position will be based on your interest.
